Biography

Mr. Aminu M. Yakasai was the Head Legal Services of Afribank Bank Nigeria Plc between 2010 – 2012. Prior  to this, he was the Regional Legal Manager in-charge of Kano Region which included the entire North East.

Mr. Yakasai started his career in the Kano State Civil Service as Legislative Clerk in the defunct House of Assembly and held various positions as Principal Registrar, Senior Magistrate, Deputy Director (Legal) before he voluntarily retired in December 1993 to join Afribank Nigeria Plc. He again retired from Afribank in 2012 but was returned as Legal Consultant between 2012 – 2016.

Yakasai holds a law dregree from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, a BL (Barrister at Law) from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos and several other certificates from various institutions such as the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies Lagos, ASCON, Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).
